New and unread conversations show a count next to them on the Texts list.
- Open Texts.
- Click a conversation in the list to open it. Opening it clears the unread count.
- Type your message in the box at the bottom.
- Click "Send".
Every message you send is checked for wording first. See "The wording check on outgoing texts" if it is flagged.
