What the release rules check before a batch can sell

The exact checks that decide Quarantine, On hold or Released for every batch.

No COA, no sale: a batch is only released once its lab report clears every one of these checks.

  • The report is marked verified.
  • It names the testing lab.
  • It has a purity result, and that result meets your minimum purity.
  • Its identity (mass) result has not failed.
  • It has a test date (or retest date), and that date has not passed.

If any check fails, the batch goes to quarantine (missing or not-yet-verified information) or on hold (a check the report actively failed, or it has expired). The reason shown next to the batch tells you which check it hit.

These checks are re-run automatically whenever a report changes, or when you change your minimum purity or shelf life on Release rules.
