Ship an order before it's paid

The owner can override an unpaid order and ship it anyway, with a reason.

Only paid or overpaid orders show up under "Ready to ship". An unpaid order can still be shipped, but only by the owner, and only with a reason on record.

  1. Open the order's ship page from Shipping or from the order itself.
  2. Get rates and pick one as usual.
  3. Fill in "This order isn't paid. Why is it shipping now?" with a short reason, for example a net-30 account you approved.
  4. Click "Buy label and mark shipped".

If someone who isn't the owner reaches this screen on an unpaid order, they see "This order isn't paid yet. Only the owner can ship it before payment" and cannot buy the label.
